go with the black. chrome just ends up looking tacky. are you getting projectors or just new oem headlights?

new OEM headlight... I have an HID kit and it's not fitting with projector.

people that put HID bulbs into non-projector headlights are retarded and should be forced to drive at night with a 9 battery Maglight shining in their face

if you aim them lower they should be ok.. i understand that the light is spread differently or whatever but if its low enough then it should be ok

Neonix's pics in this thread are HID in stock housing

sadly, 98.2% of the peeps in LA that think HID's are "cool looking" don't bother to aim or adjust anything... It's more like ooooo, pretty blu light! rather than actually needing more illumination.

While the stock 03-05 headlights are the best stock beams I've seen, I'd still say they scatter too much light upwards to not produce glare to other drivers.

....and people wonder why they get pulled over.

Well My hid kit isn't working in projector...give me a projector that is fitting with a 9007 bulb HID kit and I'll buy it.

The projector uses an H1 style bulb as it is much better for a projector housing, whereas a 9007 bulb is designed for a projector housing.

Either sell you HID kit and buy the proper one, or just leave your HID kit in your stock headlights and glare away.

Go with black. The raccoons look alot better. Also the HIDs in stock housing point... I have mine aimed just fine and have not gotten pulled over or flashed by oncoming drivers.

Key word being "aimed". Most of the tools in LA/SoCal just throw high output bulbs in the stock housings to uh, stand out I guess. You're also in an area of the country where you could actually benefit from throwing more light further.... SoCal is for the most part a single giant city with no lack of lights from both the number of vehicles on the road with you and the number of actual streetlights. Few things are becomming more irritating than some tool behind me with a lifted Hummer and HIDs riding my bumper completely oblivious as they watch movies and talk on the cellphone. LOL.
