so i'm lookin at rims and i know our bolt pattern is 5x100 and i've been looking into a set of rims for my car as it only came with a set of steelies and hub caps, which 1 was stolen who steels 1 hubcap!?
anyway i'm just wondering if i buy a 15" rim what size tire do i need? i believe its 185-65-15 also i was wondering if anyo0ne knew the tire size for the 16's and 17's as well. I'm checking into prices for the spring, i would search on here but shipping is nuts lol

i may just get a nice 15 it looks like low profile tires are expensive as hell and i don't have that kind of money right now or will for a long time with other bills o well the search is on for 15's!, do 16's still require low profile tires?

You may need them and maybe also a set of hubcentric rings.

In most cases your stock lug nuts, aside from looking nasty, will not fit into the holes of the aftermarket rim and it will either not seat properly or not at all.
The hubcentic ring takes up the space between the center of the aftermarket rim and the stock hub. Most aftermarket rims are larger in the center so they will be able to fit a wider variety of cars. Sometimes you'll get vibration if you don't have these, just makes for a snug fit.
Either can be picked up at Discount Tire for about:
$30 for a set of Gorilla Lock Nuts (16 reg + 4 locking nuts and key)
$12 for set of 4 rings (worth it in my opinion)
