lip kits and front bumper

first the front bumper on my neon (02 sxt) has those post on the bottom opening and i was wondering if i could just cut them off or do they saport(sp.) something?
second were can i get lip kits i no the srt one on ebay is 550 so r there any others?

kaminari and mopar 03-05. lots of guys have used a civic Si lip and it looks totally bad ass

civic lip will need fitting if you want something clean

if you are talking about the little plastic tab peices in the lower center opening of the bumper ... you can cut them ... but they are a type of support for the bottom of the bumper .. so you may end up with sag after a while ...
no a lip kit for the 03 - 05 won't fit the 01 or 02 bumper ...

and no, I would not cut the things off your talking about...........almost cut mine off too to make the bumper bigger........it adds support to the bottom lip. If you cut it off, that thing would just flip in the wind, unless you can find another way to support it?

so basicly im stuck with the bumper i have (cant get aftermarket just get f'd in the A where i live) i thought the srt kit fit 00+? must be wrong

it wont fit due to the updated headlights, the SRT hood is also a bit shorter than a base neon hood.

u can make nething "fit" but im too lazy and dont have the time all thou it would be fun
