Anybody sporting a BRA?

I always, and still do think they look lame, but my bumper cover is getting the crap beat out of it, and now my freshly painted hood is even getting some chips. It might add to my sleeper look too. If you have one, post pics
Even the bra website has a Neon

As long as you remove it when it gets damp / wet and ensure you wash and wax underneath it, you'll be fine.
I used mine whenever I was going on a trip that was taking me on the highway for more than an hour.

lol I was scrolling down for like an hour trying to find the neon in that picture. The one you have is what the bra site calls "sport style", that is, only covering the front of the hood. My front bumper is chipped a lot, and was already repainted once when I bought the car. How does yours remove? Is it a pain to take it off every time it rains?

Very easy to take off, I lift the hood, take off two clips that sit in the holes along the hood and pull it off. I turn it outside, let it sit in the sun for a bit, and its dry.
I have more pics with her bra on if you wanted to see it better. Its got little text in the right corner in gray that says Dodge.

My sister-in-law has a solar yellow 03 sxt with a black and yellow bra. The yellow moves down in a V from the hood with the yellow inside the V and black on the rest. I can't find any pics of it though.

I know a lot of you don't like sporting a

Bra

. I on the other hand I've had mine since my wife got it for me for a birthday present 2 months after we bought my Neon, and love it. (that's just shy of 8 years now) The Mopar Bra is still going strong and I love it. As long as you take care of it and your paint the way -Chris- said too you'll have no worries.

Thats looks just like my car, the same color and with a bra, except for the rims.....
as for the bra itself, it is pointless in my opinion unless you remove it frequently and wax the car.... i have paint discoloration underneath it because of that , but anything is better than love-bugs here in Florida gluing themselves to the car
i will post a picture later...

Really? I use my Bra a lot, and have no ill effect from it. Sorry to hear that you have paint discoloration. I know that I wash my baby every week or every other week, and as for the wax I try to do that at least twice a year. I just recently switched from 100% carnauba (Turtle Wax) which was the only product I ever used to now using Zaino. I never allowed the bra to dry on the car (after a rain) and always took it off to wash and wax.

yeah, i guess i neglected it (and was misinformed about what needed to be done to maintain the paint), it is always wet anyways because Florida is always wet, and with baking sun

...you get the idea. but i still like the way it looks... gives the car some character especially since the 00 bumper is boring to begin with... i guess my future plans would be to remove the bumper and bra, and get an 02 bumper....
Edit: I like your window tint on that car, what percentages? white cars with black bra's are nice

As for the tint, all I know is that the shop that I had it done at didn't go with %'s. I just pulled out my invoice from 8 years ago (I keep everything, O.C.D.

) and the rear was "DARK" and the front was "MEDIUM".

The tape was for the 9hr drive I was doing. It keeps bugs and chips from hitting the paint.
A few of us taped for Carlisle last year.
Diablo0,FTWNeon,Myself,2003silverneonsxt, and at least one more I think...

For long drives to car shows, alot of people will tape up the front end of their car, to protect the paint from getting damaged as well as keeping it fairly clean for the show....at least thats what i've heard from friends that tape up their cars.

If I put tape on my bumper, when I took it off all the paint would come with it.

I always loved those rims. It really gives you a perfect wheel gap and great caliper clearance. What size tire are you running? Coilovers?
