How can I BEST remove the old " Ebay CF" B pillars I have? They're installed with both 3M tape and vendor-supplied glue :banghead: . I want to take them off and install the CBD B+C pillars I have.. I'm thinking a razor (one of those plastic ones maybe??) Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions? Any help's appreciated since I don't want to fook up the B pillars while taking off the old stuff that's there now :owned: .

i would say a heat gun or hair dryer ... and slowly pry it up ...

Yep, heat will help the glue to release then clean up what's left over with some paint thinner on a rag. That's how I de-badged my car should work on other trim as well. I'd say hair dryer as a heat gun may get too hot and bubble the paint.

you can also use WD-40 to clean up the left over residue ...

or adhesive remover... I'd suggest using that, spray it behind the cf piece, let it soak in, and it should just come off, wipe away any leftover adhesive with the remover on a rag.

Ok then, thanks for the suggestions guys. Stupid question though, what type of adhesive remover to use? Any recommendations?

AutoZone (and I'm sure other parts stores) sells an aerosol adhesive remover that works pretty well... I think it's called "Sticker Shock." Looks for it by the spray paints, etc...
