So im tinting my tails...

...again. But im in a pickle... Im going to black them out for sure. but i kinda like the look of the reverse light being white. But they look prety good right now that theyr all dark. im debating... so debate with me. any input is good.

When I did mine I kept the reverse white.

I'm thinking about the very same thing. Does AutoZone or any other auto parts store sell the spray on tint or is it something that I'd have to order from Modern? Also, with it blacked out does the light still come thru ok to be seen at night and how about the brake lights during the day, can you still see them ok.

I bought my vht from an auto store around town and you can probly have anywhere that carries vht order it for you. The light still comes through, not as much as non tinted but enough.

yea i like the way yours turned out 01WhiteNe0n. An about the spray i had to buy it online. no one around here sells it. a local stereo shop sell a can thats like half the size n it goes for $30.

haha i smoked the reverse light more than the rest of the tails...its a nice grey and the red is just a lighty smoked colour.

thats kinda why i want to leave it white cuz the gray patch looks stupid. imo. i think ima tape off a thick strip of the reverse light to just have that white. does that sound retarted?

i suck. Botched up the tails completely. had to fine sand them just to get the stuff off.
yours look good although a bit too dark for my taste.

Yea i didnt realize they were going to be that dark. I was doing them in my garage so I figured it was just the crappy lighting. il get a pic up later.

Late post but....There is a MUCH better way than Nightshades IMO.
Go to any hobby store and pick up a can of Pactra RC294 Window Tint. Doesn't come out foggy like nightshades and looks awesome. Check my sig and and my car out. I did it without sanding or any prep (other than washing and drying of course).
