We currently have several members running that set-up my friend.

All without any problems. and like jT mentioned, an HID bulb burns cooler than a similar halogen.

Good 2 Go!

Chill out man. That is a good way to get a bad start as a n00b to the board. He is right by saying to use search, because the truth is there are already about ten threads in this sections alone with how toos, etc on what to do and what to not do. If you click the search button above and type in HID, you will get what you wanted and saved time and space.

With that said, welcome to the board, now read up and enjoy.

Search

But yes I run them. And if you researched HIDs at all then you would know they run cooler than halogen.

Personally I wouldnt do it. THose projectors are meant for halogen not hid. I just picked up a set tonight and im going to remove the factory projector and swap in a xenon projector. I need to see what fits in there. Im also cutting the raised edges on the leds and filling them in then painting. Also removing the halos. This is my first retro so its going to be a learning experience.

I've seen some that have great outputs , many pics shown in other threads.

Also not to beat the search thing like a dead horse, but what I do sometimes is searh thur the garage section. I look for parts that I have questions about ,then PM the member with said part, and ask the question that I need. Sometimes its easier that way for a quick responce. :D
