Your graphics are being cut and welded together? Say what?!?

The door gurads are just held on by adhesive.

Get rid of them.

its a term they use, the person i went to is welding all of the black parts that cross together...reduces overlay...

I want to remove them on my new neon but i'm apprehensive after reading multiple peoples accounts of bubbled paint underneath after doing so.

what exactly does this bubbled paint look like everyone talks about? I'm curious. I probably will just leave mine on since I don't want to risk it.

Paint with bubbles underneath it, making the surface rise up in little circles. Sometimes it chips off, sometimes just bubbles that look like shit. I never had an issue with my '03, but the older you go, the more you run the risk of getting some bad results.

yeah, mine's an '03 but it'd 5 years old now and I don't think I want to risk disturbing it.

Maybe. I removed mine no more than six months ago. I've got a black car, and it came from Tennessee, if that has any bearing on the weather at all. But yeah, the toughest problem was getting all of the adhesive off. Also I've noticed that that paint has faded a little bit on the trunk lid where the DODGE logo was. You can only see it in a certain light with the right weather and at a certain angle, though.
