ok, ladys and gents im gonna attempt to do this...by the way i see it, and ive looked into this...you can take off the front of the lens and take off the front part...buy some black or color matched brake caliper or other high temp resistant paint and paint it and re assemble...
ill let you know how it goes do u think i should do a color matched housing or black?

yea, don't try it. you can't peel apart the lense of a stock dodge headlight. you need to cut it off, or buy a set of aftermarket DEPO headlights to do it too. The adhesive is just too strong.
do NOT attempt this! you WILL fuck up your headlights!

Yep, sad but true. Please take the above advice. You wouldn't believe how strong the adhesive is that holds the lens in place on O.E. headlamps.
Get some much less expensive Depo headlamp to try this with. Or, get some black housing projectors

Just scroll down to the Dodge link.
As far as who sells them....damn, take your pick. Just do a search for "Depo Headlight Neon"

Pff they are easy to open with a dremel. Paint the bezel black and use transparent glue to close the headlight.

will the glue need to be heat resistant? will a loctite glue work?

For the metalthing over the bulb (don't know how to translate) - please use heat resistant paint. If not - it will come of (evaporate?) and lay down everywhere in the headlight.

Maybe. But better this work than spending >150 bucks for a new set - that is not as black as mine!
