Paint grille only, or add the B and C pillars and mirrors too?

I would paint the grille and grab some folding mirrors and paint just the outside of it. I don't like the look of the painted B and C pillars, it breaks up the moldings too much. If you want to see it on a car look at Measy27s most recent post in the Pictures gallery, he did it.

P.S. I didn't vote, my option isn't available :(

I'm not a big fan of the painted B and C pillars, especially when you have the windows tinted dark like you do. I like em black so they blend in with the windows. Paint the grill for sure though, that looks really nice.

I voted for grill only. Your baby is so sexy with the black contrast of the pillars and mirrors (along with your tint). The black flows especially well with the headlights you're sporting.

Personally I like all the black accents and trim on red neons. Sometimes it can make the car look odd if you color match too much.

I tried to do a quick chop of a painted grille, not great but you get the idea.

I was a little confused about the painted grill. But I saw his PS request thread. There is actually chrome trim that goes around the grill that he would be painting red. I think that looks really good.

What about what "donkey puncher" did on that photoshop but paint the chrome piece black or black chrome. And just leave everything else black.

Paint everything. Except the top grill. The bottom looks nice, if that's been shopped at all.

I voted for painting all of it, I did that to my 03 for my GF and ppl in person think it looks better than the response it got here lol People thought it cheapened the look of the vehicle.

I do have a suggestion though if you decide to do the B pillars. The material they are made out of doesnt like paint unless you remove them and paint seperatly. They seem to move slightly under normal driving conditions and, even if prepped properly, the paint has a better chance of failing. If you're going to do the B pillars, do them in vinyl. There is a red that comes VERY close to the stock neon red. If it peels replace it, if you dont like it remove it. A little more forgiving.

Here's another interesting way to do the B C side pillars... not fully colored, but a stripe on both the front and back doors, just enough color, but still leaving the black to go with the windows, whether tinted or not...
