Ok i know its been a while since i posted on here but here is the newest update on my car, all the stickers are gone except for the off set center stripe, that will come off when i repaint it. i am currently saving up for a lowering kit and an srt exhaust. The next thing to come off is the side mouldings and i am in the process of repainting the dash to match the green exterior

i would suggest black on the paint, it will be to much green.... i would lower it asap, that is a good start, and the stripe, take it off before u repaint it, just my opnion

yeah the stripe will be gone before i repaint it. black would be a good idea, i am open to any and all suggestions from the forum. You all have extremely nice neons

Just a word of warning, the SRT exhaust does not have a muffler and unless you are putting out some serious whp, it is going to sound like crap on your car. Was thinking about getting the SRT-4 exhaust for my 05' SXT since I had the dual exhaust already but heard it on another N/A Neon and it sounded horrible.

In my opinion, I suggest you look at people's 'garages' on the site, find cars that YOU like, and take down some ideas. Having everyone give you THEIR ideas isn't going to help make your car yours. We could blabber on all day about how "zomg! you should gets tokicos with prokits, srt bumper, hid's, dual exhaust, and r/t sideskirts!" but that's all of our opinions on how WE would like it to look; not you.

As I said: look around the site and get some ideas. Your ideas are going to be a lot more important than ours.

thanks for the tips guys and i read your ideas and see what you have done and what i like and go from there.

the biggest key to making a good show car is not going over the top, small suddle changes are usually the best... i am assuming u are still going to be driving the car while u are building it?

yes i will be driving it while building it, dumb i know but its the only wheels i got. I'll post current pics tomorrow

my suggestions: lower it, tint the windows, remove all the stickers and stripe, and a rt exhaust, just keep it clean. there are plenty of car on here that look almost stock that i would consider show quality

look at my front bumper, one off, custom, but kept it very simple.... it gave the car a different look and also kept the car looking clean.... but if u are not into neons u dont know it has ever been changed, simple stuff always looks the best...

my opinion, sell it, and start over.

It's just not his style, and he is just stating that to him, you would have to do more with your current look to make it nice than to buy a stock car and start modding from there.

It is basically stock....

i like the color, the first viper i fell in love with was dark green.

get rid of the tack-tastic shit like everybody else mentioned, see if you can unload the ugly ass wheels to a fast and furious 16 year old.

first go low, then save up some money for good wheels, try to stay away from rota's unless they're slips. go stock interior, painting it probably won't turn out well, see if you can get a dash from a scrap yard.

according 2 his myspace pics he has the racoon lighst it seems.....probably replaced the other fogged ones but we are seein pics in differnt order

modernperformance is a great place 2 start if ur lookin for stuff.......just dnt expect 2 have a show car in a months time unless ur loaded or have hella sponsors.....good things come in due time and hard work
