Anybody made a Super Bee Neon?

My black SRT is kinda boring looking just being all black, at least to me. So has anybody on here made theirs into a Super Bee Neon? Maybe even just put the tail stripe on? Im thinking of puttin the tail stripe on, puttin the Bee badge in my grille, and paintin my calipers Yellow. Might even get some yellow decals made for the endtanks on my intercooler. What do you guys think? Its all gonna be professionally done so its not gonna be a ghetto fix.

Mod Ideas:
-Yellow Super Bee tail stripes
-Yellow hoodscoop decal(like on the SRT-8 Chargers) w/2.4L Turbo outline on the sides of it
-Yellow Interior Accents
-Yellow Brake Calipers
-Black powder coated wheels with Yellow lip
-Super Bee badge or SRT badge for the grille
-Super Bee logo stitched into the head rests
-Yellow Intercooler Endtanks
-Black grille mesh

I've seen one around town. They've got bees on a stripe along the whole length, then the one big stripe in the back. The whole car is PYH, though. Black with yellow accents is new to me. Might look nice.

i guess its ur preference. im sure a lot of people will think its worth a shot while others would question why the idea would even come to mind.

Ive always wanted a Super Bee, be it a 69 Coronet Super Bee or 08 Charger Super Bee. We've already got a T/A and AAR Neon, why not keep it goin with a Super Bee eh? Im also thinking of powder coating the stock wheels black with a yellow lip along with some yellow interior accents.

Ill have to get a good side shot for someone to photochop unless someone is good with the Forza 2 decal maker and can just make me one on there? The only part I can see would be strange is the Super Bee stripes would be slimmer than the real ones because of how much room there is to work with on the Neon. Ive got a few things left to do on it before I can start modding. So look for it to be set into motion by February. Hopefully nobody steals my idea for their black one. Would like to see it on someother colors though.

It has been done I saw one for sale on autotrader, it looked hideous yellow with the black stripes and bee. I put the link up on df a long time ago, I'll post it here if I can find it and if it still works..

I found the thread but the link no longer works. If you want to see what they thought click here>>>>...http://www.dodgeforum.com/forum/showthr ... ght=rumble

you should take that razzi kit off your car, and the ACR sticker, IMO.

i assume you mean me right? the acr sticker has been taken off, and the razzi kit is about to be removed cause i recently got a mopar lip kit.....

sweet. car should be looking better then. I just don't see the point of an ACR sticker on an SXT, and the razzi is a little ridiculous. The lip kit should look nice on there.

Idk man...has the potential to be horribly riced out with all the vinyls. Tread lightly

I saw this one in Barrie Ontario in the spring of this year. Sorry about the crappy pic (cell phone). This is the only super bee version I have ever seen. Pretty neat I think!

The stripe would probably look better if it went up over the spoiler too...

That looks better at the same angle as the spoiler. The ones that go straight up and down don't flow well.

Edit:

Yeah, some better detail for the background scenery would be nice for us leghumpers! :slap:

i just don't think it works very well on the rounded body of a neon. I wouldn't do it, but that's just my opinion. yellow is pretty 'loud' as it is. I don't think it really needs any graphics to bring more attention to it

It has the potential to look awesomely cool...or hideously bad. Unfortunately there's a thin line between the two but I think if you take a cue from the pic above (he had the right idea) and tweek it as so:

1) bring graphic all the way through the wing rather than over the trunk

2) line angle of graphic up with the line of the wing.

3) appropriate hood graphics.

4) kick-ass motor work!

you should bee good to go (pun intended!)
