OEM Replacement Hood
I hit a deer a couple of weeks ago and I need to replace my hood. I was thinking about getting one off ebay where they paint it for you. Has anyone done that? Or can someone let me know a good website I can get replacement hoods.

Another option but IDK if they ship, or if you want to drive to the cleveland area. I got mine from there. Quality isn't too bad. weight wise, it is just as heavy as the OEM one. But it would need to be painted. Which depending on your perspective, could be a good thing, or bad.

Probably shouldn't listen to anything your penis says, that guy's a dick.
Too much time spent here is a sign of a bad case of Ownaneonvirus.Patience, of course, is a very powerful weapon, but sometimes I start to regret that it is not a firearm.

Becareful with certifit, they tend to buy the products other companies don't, which is why their prices are low. My hood from them took alot of work for it to sit properly. I guess its hit or miss, also check it out throughly before you leave the building,. mine had a bend right above where the headlight "cut out" is. Luckly my body man is good, and got it right.

ive been looking at hoods lately just for the hell of it and its funny that a lot of places have one hood for 2000-2005, when its stated (in exterior section) that the hoods for 00-02 and 03-05 are different .. just enough that an 00-02 hood would be a problem on an 03+

The standard hood for all 2000-2005 Neons are the same. Only the SRT and SRT-D hoods are different.jT wrote:ive been looking at hoods lately just for the hell of it and its funny that a lot of places have one hood for 2000-2005, when its stated (in exterior section) that the hoods for 00-02 and 03-05 are different .. just enough that an 00-02 hood would be a problem on an 03+

If I could just figure out how to meld the Outback and the Neon into one car...

4. '00 style hoods have a point on them enough to cause problems with '03+ bumpers.
10. The 00-02 hood will overhang the 03+ fascia,
ill have to take a closer look at my car and at an 03-04 that i see at work... im pretty sure this "point" does exist on the 00, and i'm pretty sure the 03 is a non-point that meets up nicely with the bumper... so..??
