Got a question on outside appearance modifications. Questions about body kits, exterior lighting, just anything thats a visual mod on the "exterior" of the car. Ask those questions here.

you know i really like that kit's "idea" but if i made it i would take ever sharp angle and the sides and smooth the hell out of them. like take the front fenders alll te way up to the top and gradually work you way dont to the area that is over the tire. i guess it's something that needs to be photoshoped or paint.

I am a ricer and a body kit fan at heart. The more I look at this kit the more I kinda like it. There was a dude that had it in black. I kinda liked it there. Plus it is different. Which always catches me.

I guess I am just a silly ricer lol.

I hvae mixed feelings about that kit. I think that it would look alot better if it had wider tires.

it would look better with wider tires but thats what people who use the widebody kit dont soo. ive only seen one with the wide rims and it sorta looked nice it was on here with blue once. but still someone might not want to put the money into the wheels being wider.

He has my wheels too, and they are dirty.

...actually yes. my SXT is so much better... I have power windows, locks, fog lights and color matched door handles and door moldings had I left them on. my point was, why would you spend money 'customizing' a base model neon with an ugly ass widebody kit that makes it look like a spaceship, and then not even bother to paint the door handles or remove the crappy 'dodge neon se' badges..

...and it still looks horrible.

Your ES was the top of the line trim. The SXT kinda took it's place.

yeah... like Dante said... ES was top of the line until '02 when it gets confusing to me because there was an ES and an SXT if i'm not mistaken. When the whole SXT thing started it seemed to me that they were meant to be models that were not fully equipped but came with the most popular options that people would want. i.e. wheels, power windows/locks, cd player. again i could be wrong. Still... an SXT>SE....

You are right on the money. Chrysler got kinda stupid in 2001 because they offered a SE "Plus" package that gave some additional options that put it right below an ES, and later in the year came out with the SXT as well. The SXT took that role over officially in 2002.

Which is hilarious to me because my 2000 es came with more factory install goodies than sxt's do hahaha. Suckers.
Hood and trunk carpet, lighted cup holders, lighted window switches, hood light, etc.

I like how they have the Indy manifold AND the 65 mm throttle body on the 2.0. I don't even think it's a DOHC. I wonder how NGC felt about that?

Thats the result of a Storm Trooper and a Transformer having a baby. Gross! Do you know what kind of offset you need to fill that wheel well.

AAAGGGH! YOU BEAT ME TO IT! The Indy intake manifold flows too much for a stock n/a 2.0 engine. What was he thinking?!

so the indy manifold can hurt the engine in the long run ??

SE greater than all :-p

Mine came with matched handles, hood carpet, lighted window switches, PL, PW, A/c ... plus some big pimpin' steelies.

Neon trim lines are all mixed up. Hell, read the wikipedia neon article.

ACR=Identity crisis

SE trim level...but with R/T seats and upgraded cloth from an ES instead of leather.

No power options...but has ABS, Traction control and key-less entry with alarm :wtf:

I dont have abs or traction control. I found the dealer sticker from my car, it was made on 8/4/99 at 17:15:17, my dad bought it in november of 99.
