That looks cool. I'm no expert, but I'd look and see what kind of power those things would draw. My car had its own dedicated circuit for the heated mirrors, so I'm not sure if they can be spliced into the defroster or not.03sxr/t wrote:http://www.burcoinc.com/products/other_ ... eat_grids/

i have heated mirrors (2000 plymouth lx) and there are no 'etchings', because I'm pretty sure it heats them differently then the rear defrost does......you could just put your hand on it, see if its warm.....
or pop the cover to the fuse panel off, read the list on the cover, and see if you have the fuse for it.....
We had a land rover in our shop that we were changing the mirror (just the mirror itself not the entire assembly) and it had power and the mirror we ordered did not. I checked to see what power was running to it and it was 13.4 volts I believe... straight power... not sure amps though. Im going to wire mine to the rear defrost. The pad you put on the mirror is kinda like a film with the same stuff used on rear windows for the defrosters.dreamersrevenge wrote:That looks cool.
