Install on Mopar Side Skirts
Got a quick question for those of you who have already installed your side skirts. How difficult was it to install the sides and what were the steps to do it? I feel like the directions they gave me are very vague and that I may need something to drill into my rockers. Is that true?

Yup yu need to drill.i used 3m double sided tape to hold the skirt hooks in place so i could get the fitment just right and then drilled the holes.worked perfect.just test fit everything and use the tape and you will be fine.its easy

i cannot remember the size of bit that i used to drill the holes, but it wll say on the instructions what size you will need.and lining up means there are not any X's on the car,you get two long pieces of plastic that act as hooks for the lip on the side skirts to attach to,if you go out and hold the skirts up to the sides of your car you can see what i mean, those pieces are the ones that need to be attached to the car with the supplied screws.i used small pieces of 3m bouble sided tape to hold the hooks to the side of the car and make sure they were even i test fitted the skirts till i was happy with the fitment and then drilled the holes and removed the tape before attaching the hooks.then drilled the hles on the underside of the skirts and the fender wells at this time also, you will have to jack the car up and remove the rear wheels to drill the rear holes where they meet the fenders.when you start the install you will see what i mean here.hope this helps

In the OP, I said the directions are very vague. Everything is so scattered and some steps have more than one step, if that makes any sense. So I was just seeing what someone who has already done it did so I know that I'm doing the right thing.Jenni wrote:If you just read the install manuals - you will find every answer...

they are vague, but not impossible. tons of people have done this, just do a search. it's all been covered. here's a little write-up I did when I installed mine. I just used duct tape to hold the hooks on the car and then screwed them on with the self tapping screws provided
