Carbon Or Fiberglass Eyelids

Post by Caraudioholic24 » Mon Feb 02, 2009 12:23 am

HI ive been looking on here for a thread pertaining to eyelids or eyebrows for a 03-05 neon. I will be purchasing a carbon fiber hood shortly and wanted to get a pair in either carbon fiber or even fiberglass. I prefer the shorty style because I have projector headlights (from MP). Now I see that all the ones i am looking at are basically only the SRT 4. They will not match up to the hood line on a regular neon. Any one have this issue and has found a company that does them for us??? Getting tired of lookin!!! Thanks in advance

yea i know they will work what im saying is the bottom part of the eyelids seem to always be for a srt4 as the bottom will have a gap on a sxt. Hood line is what im trying to get at. Carbon by design seems to be the only company that does the caron fiber ones but there is like an inch and a half gap if I were to put it on with my SXT hood!!!

I got a nice set of fiberglass eyelids off ebay. They sit flush with the hood but they are the S-style. I paid like 45 bucks with shipping.

What year is your Neon? If it's 03+ it shares the same headlights as the SRT's. Therefore those shorty eyelids will work.

Yes i am aware a srt is a NEON. The hoods are different and that is the point I am trying to make. I see that there is no company that has made them for the REGULAR neons. Therefore there will be a gap. That was my question from the beginning. Thanks

Contact carbon by design and see if they can make them longer for you. And/or just buy the shorties...the gap really isn't that bad.

Either that or pick up some fiberglass mat when you get them, and elongate them yourself. Fiberglass mat is really easy to work with.
