okay i have a couple questions that i would like to get clarification on before i do the ordering.

i plan on ordering projector headlights, projector foglights, 4300k HID kit for the headlights, and 3000k HID kit for the foglights, so here are my questions

1. ive looked to see if i can find a pair of projectors w/o the leds in them and no luck,,, are there any w/o the leds out there?

2. from what ive read the low beam bulb in the projectors is an h1 bulb, so this means i want a H1 Hid kit correct?

3. if i order projector foglights from like ebay, does the bulb size (893) remain the same or does it change to another size like in the headlights. if not then i would need a 893 HID kit then correct?

4. last question what are the good kits available ive read a couple ppl have the vvme kit which is really cheap and they have the size i need for the headlights but not for the fogs. so i would need another brand for the fogs.

i want to order the lights and kits all at once thats why im asking for bulb sizes instead of having to order the lights wait till they come in to get the bulb size then order the HID kits.

thanks every one

projectors are H! so you'll need H1 HID kit,

It Foglight remain 893 you'll need 893 HID kit

I'm not trusting Ebay for HID kit.

You need h1 style bulbs and 9007 style relay harness with projectors. Be sure to tell the vendor/seller that before you make your purchase.

Spend the extra money and buy the HALO projectors from modernperformance.com. They bend over backwards for their customers, have great shipping time frames, and are the only ones who provide directions for the install. Also too if you dont want the LEDs in the lights lite up, then just dont wire them up.

If you get the projector headlights you need to order:

- 4300k H1 HID kit from VVME.com
- 9007 Relay Harness from TheRetroFitsource.com

If you get the projector foglights from ebay you need to order:
- 3000k H3 HID kit from VVME.com
- 893 Relay Harness from TheRetrofitSource.com

The reasons are, all HIDs have the same plugs behind them regardless of their bulb number, but you still need the OEM socket harness to turn the HIDs on. Hence why even though you are buying H1 bulbs because they fit in the headlight, you need a 9007 harness.

If you keep your stock foglights:
- 3000k 893 HID kit
- 893 harness from theretrofitsource.com

If you keep your stock headlights:
- 4300k 9007 HID Kit (single or bi-xenon is up to you, bi-xenon is high beam also)
- 9007 relay harness from theretrofitsource.com

The VVME.com kits do not come with relay harnesses, they come just ready to plug and play. The problem with them is you are plugging them into your factory headlight socket. While this seems okay, its not safe at all. Though the wattage of an HID bulb, 35 watts, is lower than that of your headlight the HID bulb requires near 100,000 volts to power up the ballast. Your stock wiring system just is NOT capable of that. Over time your multifunction switch will melt and can cause a fire.

Using the relay harness takes power directly from your battery to fire up the ballasts thus saving your factory wiring system and adding a fuseable link in the middle.

Just to clarify though. Its actually the current draw from the ballast during 'start-up' that can damage the stock wiring. IIRC its somwhere around 10A per ballast.

I'll vouch for the vvme kit. It comes at a cheap price, with a 14 month warranty I believe.

Both my headlights and foglights are VVME and I couldn't be more pleased with them, especially for the price :).

Chad you can edit that if you'd like.
