flat doesnt look nearly as good on our cars as it does on others. we have no body lines....and that makes the difference in a flat app.

/\/\ really do you know any neon owners with a flat color.... other than black??

That looks like royal blue or sky blue. I don't really like the light blues like those, but I do like darker blues.

Yeah, I dunno. I guess I'd have to see it in more pictures to decide if I like the flat idea or not.

^^ That is nicely done, I didnt even notice the shaved gas door and that is a great place to hide the filler neck. Dash looks good matched to the exterior. More pics of other cars!!

I'm planning to paint my car Navy Blue over spring break...mainly because I don't want anything bright like Eblue.

JeffM, you're pretty good at photoshop. And the first car is InfinityAudio's car.

/\/\ yeah im really looking into it i want to go down to a local auto body shop and see how much they would do it for i know my mom friend who has been doing custom work for like 45 years now said he would charge me 1,400dollars for anykind of paint job

so would 1,400 dollars be legit for a legit paint job?

That looks nice, I wouldn't mind having a car that color. If I get a project second gen I might paint it that.

Not in my eyes it's not legit. I paid $800 for paint just to do my bumper, hood, eyelids and rear diffuser. If you were staying with the same color and just re-clearing it then yes 1400 would be reasonable, but to change a color and to charge "1400 for any kind of paint job".....too cheap.

Here is a pic of a friends car, before it was repainted and sold. Dont mind the wheels, he bent a Kosei and we had to improvise. Looks a little shiny in the pic, but it was pretty flat. The hood/roof/trunk were flat black.

Real deal flat paint is awesome! I would like to do a dark grey. I really like that fuel filler re-location, but it seems like it would be too low for the fuel to go into the tank properly...
