The pics I've seen of them on cars I don't think I care for them.... :-\

They look OK. Honestly, if I trusted myself to do the work, I'd retrofit some black housing stock lights, though

Haha I just saw that in your thread.
You should like them though. If you go with HID's, cut a hole in the rubber seal that comes with them then tape around the hole so you don't get moisture inside the housing.

The HID output in those looks a lot better than the halo headlights.

Damn those look so good in black. I'd buy a set. Anyone know how the light output is with the stock bulbs?
If any of you are gonna upgrade to these and get rid of your current black housing DEPOs, lemme know

I have the old style projectors and plan on upgrading to these very soon, they're damn nice looking!

Well, there's my next non-maintenance item for the car.

My stock headlights need to be replaced anyway because they're cracking pretty bad anyway. That and new fog light assemblies because the lenses are in pretty bad shape on those after 6 years, too.

Oooh these are neat. I especially like how they look with the parking lights on.

No offense to anyone that likes these but I dislike them even more than the other projector headlights that came out. They just look cheap....and the turn signal location reminds me of a bugeye rex.

I am so offended that you feel that way sparky!

LOL I'm sure some people will be, but I think they look cheap as hell and do nothing for the front end of the car. Black housing headlights are still the sexiest lights (outside of retrofits but I know alot of people cannot afford them so I'm taking them out of the equation) on ANY 2gn...hands down.

Yeah? Yeah, well I think YOU look cheap! Yeah, howsabout that eh?

I do not believe you....I are not cheap.

Hehehehe. That's my main gripe about both these sets of projector lights. These do look better than the ones with the halos and LEDs to me, but I like the stock turn signal location. I know I need to replace my headlights though and I just don't trust myself to do retros. I would much rather have a nice set of retrofit lights, but I know I'd fuck them up. Light output at night is a huge thing for me, too. I like being able to see. I'd have nothing but HID Projectors for headlights and fogs on the front of my '03. Things like that have to wait several months until she's paid for and I can find someone to do the retros for me.

If I had the time, I'd make retros for people, but I don't and people don't want to pay what they are worth. An average retrofit:
Headlights: $200
Sealant: $50
HID Kit: $200
Projectors: $200 +/-
Misc. Hardware, paint, dremel wheels: $30 at least
Plus all the damned time that goes into them....Retrofits are pricey as all hell It's 700-800 JUST in parts forget including labor.

Oh I'd buy all the parts a little at a time and GLADLY pay someone to do it. I know they're pricey as hell, but they look great. Especially the ones you made for Lucius.
Ooooh....That's a thought.... Buy the black housing projectors from MPx to get me by, then buy the parts a little at a time to do the retrofit.
