So my friend is getting rid of his Blue StreetGlow Kit. He has a new set of RED L.E.D's that he is going to use instead. He may give me the old blue set for free or wicked cheap. Should i just take them an install them. A lot of people have differing opinions so I wanna hear them. Thanks guys!!!!

Also... Don't drill into the floor of that poor ACR. It deserves better.

lol I vote yes. Fuck it, try it out, see what it looks like. If you like it, keep it. If you don't, sell it and make some money.
I'd never put them on my car, though.

All underglow is illegal on public roads, regardless of color. Almost every state has adopted this law from what I understand.
Underglow = fail.

Don't do it; your car is already a 4x4.

I thought about it but unless its free its kinda worthless. Once the novelty wears off itll get kinda old. Similar to the dixie horn on my 4wd. Ive had it for about 1 and a half and its got pretty old. Fun but just not that feeling it use to have. Still has a pretty good effect on people...

if you're lowering it, DEFINITEY don't do it. I did it to mine simply because I wanted to have neons on a neon. I don't hook them up unless I'm going to show off my car somewhere and draw attention to myself. It's a great conversation piece/starter.
I don't recommend doing it though. Novelty does wear off, and the temptation to turn them on while driving is too much. I've gotten pulled a few times for them before I learned my lesson.
If you do install them, you'll crack the tube (being so low). The led's might still work, but if they don't, you have dark spots in your glow.

You’re contemplating putting underglow lights on an ACR?
Please sell your ACR to someone who will respect it. Mkay? Thxs!
FYI, I voted no.

I am a HUGE glower. This is teh kit I have under my car. With many add ons to it on the interior. I also hooked up my halos to it with special leds. So my halos change color with the underglow. vid of the kit on this page. None of it on my car as of now. Soon though.

Yes it is. I didn't pay near that as I got mine used and broken. And fixed it. It is the most advanced kit on the market. Best kit you can buy.

If it's free or really cheap then just go for it. What do you have to lose besides a few people on the internet saying they hate it? I've had people tell me they hate stuff on my car too....but really I don't give a shit.....cause the car is mine.

There were only 53 2002 acr's built with sliver paint and a/c! And you think it's ok to molest it with neon lights? Putting underglow lights on a factory race car is the single largest act of rice anyone can perform.
