Mopar Paint Question

I own a PS2 Silver Neon SRT-4.
The dodge dealer wants close to $25 for a small canister of it. Is there a an equivalent that is cheaper and more readily available?
I plan to paint my fog surrounds and mirrors.
Anyone have part numbers etc etc?

My luck with duplicolor has been pretty good.
There may also be online distributors for paint as well. Or check with kornholio, see if he is still selling paint.

yeah, I wanted something I could just go after work and pick up (and not get ass raped at the dealer).
If anyone knows the equivalent of something at a common store let me know.

Just head to the dealer and ask them. They usually have some in stock for the common colors and if not they'll order it. But yeah, they're little aerosol cans maybe 5-6" tall... not nearly enough to do a bumper or anything but just enough to do some small parts and things of that nature. Unless Chrysler raised their price on them they're ~$8-10. BRR or DanteNeon may be able to give you an exact price...
I've also heard you can go to NAPA and order aerosol cans through them as well... never tried it though so I don't know if you can or not.

Paint match, from my experience, was pretty damn close. But the quality was fantastic!! I'm nto sure abotu all their product, but when i got my paint from them is was only the base coat (not shiny), so you are gonan need some high quality clear to go over it. They sell complete kits with the clear coat and the whole 9 yards. Which you may want to get sinc you are painting on the bumper area where it see's alot of abuse from the elements. Don't cheap out on paint for your exterior.

Yeah here too, I paid less than $10 IIRC. Call a different dealer. They should all sell them for MSRP.

FWIW Nissan paint is crap!!! Hopefully this is just the same color not the same quality as what Nissan puts on the cars at the factory.

I was planning on color matching my mirrors too but ran out of aerosols from the dealer. Before I buy more, I was just curious if anyone knows how much a body shop might charge to paint these?
Sorry to threadjack, I just figured it was relevant and possible helpful so I posted here.

Do you need a clear coat to go over the Mopar paint?? Or is it a all in one formula?

So the can you get from the dealer is just the base coat?

Any more than $75 (if you take them off first) and you should run.
