dash
Think it hurts your eyes...try driving it with the sun reflected off of it. That is the apexi neo molded into the dash, can't really see it but I dont have center ac vents. The cd player was moved to the top of the center bezel to make room for the PLX r-500 in the radio space. I'm redoing all of that anyway. The red blinds me, the fuel controller is too far away(out of my reach unless I lean up) and because of the type of display on the plx device I can't read it without putting the shifter in my ear. I was thinking of making a custom a-pillar pod for all of that plus my gps. Who knows...probally change it a dozen times before I'm happy with it.
Yes it's a neon... No it's not an srt4... Oh and by the way I don't care if you like it...I love it!!!

I don't think the Kaminari lip will fit the SRT-D bumper as it's meant to fit over the "lip" the actual SRT bumper has. Kaminari does however make quality products.
That Kevlar hood, you may find it on Ebay but the gelcoat on them lacks serious quality. A friend has a silver one and the hood turned yellowish brown in under a year. I think if you keep the whole top of the car black and the whole bottom of the car red (using the body line on the side to split it up) it would look good. Don't put red stripes over the black though that would kill the look entirely.
This car has flat clear, but you get my drift

Other than the decals car looks nice. I was looking at a red SRT-D before i bought my R/T, probobly would have bought it if it hadn't been an automatic.
what do you have molded into to dash above the hvac?
i like the radio mood.
but i live in fl not sure i would let go of my ac vents...
florida is so hot it sucks.

Re: yup...decaled
A sheet metal/other type of diffuser underneath will take care of that.JeffM wrote:Oh my...I think, with that bumper, there would be a very big parachute effect on your car if you are planning on 2000hp...Psydwynder wrote:![]()
I'd leave the body as-is and put your money more towards this 'power' you are looking for.
Also with that kind of power, the car would need to be closer to the ground. And a better suspension. I would shudder to think of stopping that thing the way it sits.

Fuzzy dice
The fuzzy dice were a present from my 11yr old son... Ya'll gotta understand that. He says he wants them when he gets his car. In the center console where the radio use to be is a PLX r-500. Its a w/b o2 computer with data logger. It lets me plug my laptop in to it and do "dyno" runs on the track or street. It has been real useful when I was having some issues with the a/f maps when first got the neo. The car looks 4x4 I know. Those are actually 17" rims but I kept the same overall diameter as the stoke tire rim combo. I use to have eibach sportline springs on there and it did look a lot better. but the ride was horable on the roads down here. The pics of the two tone paint black and red are exactly how I want to paint mine except the trunk lid I just want it black between the tail lights. I'm still up in the air about the body kit though. I'm looking around.

Leave the whole trunk black, it won't look right otherwise. I dislike that black stripe between the tails...Psydwynder wrote: The pics of the two tone paint black and red are exactly how I want to paint mine except the trunk lid I just want it black between the tail lights. You either have to do the trunk stripe...or do the two tone, if you leave just the top of the decklid red it will not flow at all.
This is one of those Red kevlar hoods, doesn't match well:

Found rims,tires, and body kit
Here is a pic of the back of my car with explaination of paint job.

Here is the side skirts and back bumper I am thinking about. Simple but still different. Gonna keep the front like it is and add a lip spoiler at the bottom. May have to mold srt-4 section in for it to fit. Going to add spoiler struts for strength and adjustability.

Here is the rims I like. Motega 17" with some 205/40zr17xl t/a kdw2 tires. Can get them brand new mounted balanced and installed with locking lugs for 800 plus tax. They weigh 19lbs without tires, If anyone knows of a similar style rim thats lighter let me know. Perferably black and ten spoke.

Let me know what ya'll think. Open to suggestions. Keep in mind that I' keeping the factory style spoiler.

I'll tell you right now that it's probably not going to look right with that rear bumper and side skirts and the SRT-D front bumper. Even with a lip the sides and rear will stick down further than the front and it won't look right.
As for the wheels, they're better than what you've got now but I'd look for something with a lip. To me that style wheels with the flush spokes that are all one color with no lip just look like every ricer you've ever seen since 2001.
These are just my suggestions. Take them for what you will. It;s your car man

He said he wants that body kit for the rear and sideskirts but SRT-D front and lip... It'll look bad. I agree with you a whole lip kit would look great! I tried to find pics of Eckoplatinums car but he took all the pics down

modify the front
What if I order this front chop the top off and mold the bottom section in to the same height as the rest of the kit?

and on the wheels I really don't like shinny. Lip on the rims don't really bother me, but I would like a sholid black rim, perferably light weight and strong.

I don't necessarily dislike all one color it's the flush spokes that I don't like. Lips add some aggressiveness. I think If you're gonna do that body kit, you should just put the whole thing on as-is. Get it in urethane too if you can since it's much more durable and better fitting than fiberglass.

SRT-D
I want to keep the idenity of the SRT_D... I may just make it a one off kit myself. I'm gonna keep looking. Where would I find that mopar lip kit? Do you know anyone with an srt-4 rear apron and side skirts?

checkk the for sale section here and on SRT forums for both. Also your local craigslist and there's several SRT rear bumpers on eBay. If you want to keep the SRT-D identity, I don't think the way to do it is with a body kit.
check here, I think they might still have a few front and rears. probably will need to be repainted though:

The r/t sideskirts will be harder to find but look much better than a body kit would in my opinion

^now if you could do that and get the front lip to be level with the sideskirts and run r/t sideskirts and an srt-4 rear bumper that would look really nice

Dont go and fuck up the SRT-D front. just get a mopar lip the SRT sides and rear. Roll the back bumper and itl look really good. as i stated before body kits look like shit.
Find BRRs project log. he has the SRT-D front on his with a mopar lip

I'm begging you not to ruin your srt-d by getting a ricer body kit! The body kits I have seen are made of fiberglass and crack into pieces in less than a year.
If you must get one get a good quality one. Check out v-fiber or duraflex kits. Then sell me your srt-d kit!
...or you could be the first to rock this one:

one decision made 100 to go
As far as the body kit, I'm going with the mopar kit in the back and front and the srt side skirts. I am doing away with the decals of course but I'm wondering how it would look with the same style stripes I have now in red?
