Eyelids for neon 01 standard H4 bulb

Post by Alex Kurdian » Sat Sep 12, 2009 5:06 am

Hi
Can someone tell me please , do eyelids when using a standard H4 bulb reduce the light output?
It looks like they would cut alota light out but I'm not sure ?

Can someone please assist?

I wanna get some only if my light output is good....
I drove My Neon till it "SOLD" And then bought a Mazda 3 Skyactiv

I guess you noticed that your light goes down to the street. So the cut will not result any problems with the low beam. Maybe with the high beam - but not that much. As long as you have not eyelids that cover 80% of the headlights....
But here is an easy test: Park in front of a wall, cover one light with a blanket or such, turn light on an simulate the eyelid with a piece of paper and you'll see how much you can cover w/o problems.

I notice no difference with stock headlights and stock bulbs. High beams are still bright as hell for being stock stuff.
