No i believe you headlights will be fine, and its worth it, if you like it enough to pay 275 plus tax for it

well. i can get one for less then 150 on ebay. but have to wait for it. or 275+ tax at local junk yard ( even though that is still a 45 min drive one way)

i want a diff bumper but not sure if i want to spend that much money on a used bumper.!!

the front bumper better be MINT for that much... and ur headlights are the same, 00-02, are the cut off points for the headlights.

I wouldn't pay that. You're going to get it repainted (I hope) anyway.

Don't take Chris's word lightly, this is the route that Tam and myself went. When I bought my bumper, it was $31 and some change after tax. Unpainted of course, but who cares?! It was $31 out the door! lol.

But yea, go ahead and buy the $275 bumper. Headlights will fit, btw :)

Buy the bumper from certifit.com for around $30.

Why the hell would you even consider buying one for $275???

Thats so hefty for a used bumper.

I win! MY certifit front bumper was $27.75 or something. It may have been $24.75...IDK. To me, it was freeeeee.

i agree, people say the fitment sucks. I have seen very few guys here who pay 25-45 for a bumper at certifit.com and have a problem. Even bumper at the dealer dont fit right sometimes.

Now if that bumper is a R/T style, then it's worth it. If it isn't an R/T run away.

I'm with Dante on this one, you could get a new bumper for near that price from the dealership. If it isn't an R/T bumper then pass on it and buy one from certifit.

Well, you will hardly get a new one at that price...

5018993AA Bumper cover - W/r/t W/r/t List Price $522.00

5080883AA Bumper cover - W/o r/t W/o r/t List Price $447.00

The Certifit may need some of the edge seams sanded down, but other than that, for the price difference, you have little to lose!

With the used one, it might be worth it if it is the R/T style, as Certifit only has the SXT front fascia. They carry the rear, tho. (but it is over $100)

o im not spending 275+ on a front stock bumper. thats nuts, i can get a new body kit for 399 on line ( dont know it that one site is any good thought) but either way not spending 275 on a bumper. i was just asking if they are worth that, as in is that what they go for? i woulndt pay 275 even it it was new, and its not from a r/t just a plain 02 .

I wouldn't pay $399 for a BODY KIT. Hell I wouldn't pay $1 for a body kit....

Go Certifit, or find an R/T bumper

5080883AA Bumper cover - W/o r/t W/o r/t List Price $447.00
www.moparpartsamerica.com:

The R/T Bumper:
MSRP: $522
Your Price: $359.95

The non R/T bumper:
MSRP: $447
Your Price: $308.20

So for a little over $30 more you can get a new 2002 bumper and less than $100 more gets you an R/T one. Which is why I said "near" that price. Not that anyone would spend that when there are certifit ones for $30 floating around, but still...MSRP is not always what you pay.

But you forgot shipping. Add another $90 to $110. :D

True, if you ordered it from them, but you could get it from a dealership for that price with no shipping. Either way, it's too much to spend on one when you can get one WAY cheaper from CF

the real issue here is he spelled 'bumper' as 'bumber'.

Back to the topic at hand....I paid....ehhh.....absolutely nothing for my bumper, $44 for my lip, and $65 for paint. ~$100 I had a civic lipped '02 front.

Get one from Certifit and get it painted. Even that route, you'd be waaay under $275.
