ok so i have been thinking about this for a while.. and for some reason i love the srt bumper when it is rolled, and when it has no exhaust out the back... (either it is dumped or it is side exit) so my question is has anyone done this with a mopar lip kit?? i know that superdan???? did the rolled with exhaust... i want it to be just dumped and not seen.... anyone ever do this???

Dave I can't think of anyone that has... At lease not off the top of my head..

My bad on the VC.. My mind is all over the place I haven't been in my garage for over 2 weeks... Yikes... I will get it to you man

The lip kit won't roll. You would have to cut out that part if the SXT bumper can be rolled that is.

nate, no problem no rush, the block will not be together till the end of the week or this weekend..... i can not figure out what color to go with on my engine bay anyway... :banghead: :banghead: (keep saying to self, silver.. no chrome, no powdercoat chrome, no wait black chrome, no wait blue.....exc exc)

dante... hmmm... that could be a problem, and maybe why i have not seen it done??? but the rear bumper would have to be roled or cut out? or maybe fill in the gap???

I don't think the SXT bumper has enough material there to roll up since it doesn't sit as low as the SRT. So if you really want to have the rolled look you may have to be content with cutting the bumper out.

ok thanks dante... i will have to look at it when i get a sec or two... i was accually thinking about running an electric exhaust cut out, but may not be worth it.... side exit wide open and hide the rear exhaust with muffler... but idk... just a thought and it would be something differnt, i am sick of looking at the same old exhaust tips

You have to cut the lip and the bumper. That's what we did on Dan's. It can't be rolled.

Are you saying Dave shouldn't go with this idea? lol

I think he SHOULD. Just use a dremel, and put some masking tape over the spot you're cutting. Helps make the cut smoother and evens the lines out. I wish I would have done it.

That is so damn sexy, it almost makes me want to trade my SRT rear bumper for the boobie SXT bumper with the lip kit

i like it alot, just not the muffler... i am thinking i am going to go with way... it gives the car a sleeker look and something about no exhaust tips equals win in my book.... :)

What ever happened to the idea of molding the lip and making the liscence plate area larger in my photoshops?

You should do that and roll the middle too! It'll look sick.

i am not sure about molding it in yet... it would be alot of work.. and the boobies are going on me alittle... but the lip will be maybe not molded but i may just do like the srt bumper, kinda have it as a deffenet lip, but not molded completely

Wow that looks pretty good! Whoever's that is, was smart enough to angle the can. And not leave it hanging low.

one of the local srt owners has a side exit but it dumps behind the side skirt he put one of those tips that bend down like they use on the lowriders so you cant see it its pretty cool
