I think the skirts would be the least of anyone's worries if they hit a 6"+ pothole

I mean, they might be damaged in an accident, but even that is unlikely considering how low they sit.

They company will have to keep the set for future molds.

The donating person would get 60% off + free shipping on a new set.

They do not use any types of plastics.

He said they will be priced between 200 to 250, I havn't asked yet, but hopefully thats the price for them in carbon fiber.

Someone would have to be insane to donate a full set of RT sides only to get a DISCOUNT on a lesser quality replica.

I'm glad this isn't going to happen.

Keep it for future molds?

Thats a crock of shit. Once you make a mold, if that mold wears out you make another. Mold's are generally made from CNC programs.

Dude, that is total BS. Only giving a discount for donating a rare item, and charging a whopping $200+ for the replicas?

I can see this not going anywhere. lol

what a load, if someone donates THEIR r/t side skirts, and doesn't get them back, they should get like, 2 free sets on the house plus 1% revenue from the profits this company is making of of the original owner's item.

And yes, i hope the $200 ones are for the CF set as well...Thats like saying a TV show that has gone into syndication is brand spankin new.

I can answer that question : a pole. The R/T I got those off of was run into a pole when the owner fell asleep. I think she has writen off another R/T since.

Exact words, idk about this now...
Hello, yes we must keep the ones used for tool making, I will give a 60% discount and free shipping to the person donating the set. WE do no use plastic or urethane, the cost would be between $200 and $250, let me know thanks

That makes lose faith in the. I'd question the quality if the mold isn't made from a CNC program.

I'm all set with that. If I'm giving them a rare part to only get 60% off a lesser part then they can shove it, and their ghetto mold up their behinds. You help them make a fortune and you get basically nothing in return.....

Businesses these days are ridiculous.....

Sorry to chime in so late BUT......

This company is horrible and their customer service sux. My 2 year old son can lay cf better than these guys. He doesnt even do the work himself it gets sent down to Mexico from what he told me.

I ordered a Carbon fiber wiper cowl. I paid 150 plus shipping. Well the first one came in and I was disappointed. The cf weave was all messed up and distorted. There was air bubbles all over the part. So I called and i sent it back. Well he told me and said that they had to make another mold. So I waited a year and finally after I contacted him several times he sent me out another one. It was better in certain areas but the part seemed to be higher where it touches the windshield but manageable with some heat. Anyway as I work with composites I know these custom parts are never gonna be perfect so I kind of understand. Another example is Dr. GONZOS armrest. It has messed up weave as well and was cheaply made. He cant even screw the armrest into his center console because the holes stripped out because they laid the fiberglass too thin in that area.

Anyway be careful of what your buying from this guy. He seems to be a decent guy justneed to make better quality products. I just want to give you guys a heads up.

Im workin on my CF center armrest. I am wrapping a factory OEM part so it will keep its shape. I should have pics up after the holidays. Its gonna take some time.

I "curbed" my side skirt in morgantown lol. Curb was like a foot tall and I had to take the corner sharp to keep from getting hit by another car.

This thread is done, the company says they won't give anything more than 60% off and free shipping to the donating person.

Its just not worth it, for the price listed you can have 2 sets of oem skirts..
