a carbon whore.
I'm about to drop my tax return on viper hood, molded pvo trunk, and a few other cf goodies.... should I ? I really like the all red appearance of my car but I wanted to see what others thought.

Carbon, yes. But I would then paint it. I like good fitting CF but I hate the look.
Lightweight goodness with color matched goodness

painting CF?
Uuuuuuuhhhh - why?
Then you could save your money and buy fiberglass parts!
Painted CF is like wearing a 1000$ slip - fucking expensive and noone can see it......

I'd leave it alone and spend the money on more effective mods, or slap the money in the bank.

I love those hoods and pvo spoiler so i say do it but as Dante said paint it. I say paint it because i hate the look of carbon fiber. I wish my whole car body was made of carbon fiber and just start randomly rattle canning it just to piss people off.

Exactly. +10000000
You get CF, you show it off. I think it will look good. Red can really pull of CF well.
Responsible answer:
Only if the car is paid off, then go for it. Otherwise I say use it to finish paying it off, unless you still we a ton on it.

What is the reason for getting CF? If it is for the look, then that's just as bad as spending $1000 for any article of clothing because of the designer.
The real draw of CF should be the weight. Less weight = more speed, better handling, better fuel economy. I don't need to look like CF to have those advantages.

Anyone who buys carbon strictly for looks has their priorities all wrong. I used to think carbon looked cool two, but that only lasted a couple months until I realized that it's actually used as a rice mod most of the time. Very few people use real dry carbon strictly for it's true purpose: weight and strength.

I would paint it, but then, I don't like to advertise what is there. Ppl don't see it, less likely to end up traveling to some unknown location on a flatbed in the middle of the night.

I love carbon fiber. Not so much painted but if you want it just for looks then that's ok if your more of a show car. If you race then there's really no need to waste money in painting it. Red is a great color to pull off CF.
But it's your money and your car you are the one that has too be seen in it so do what makes YOU happy. And everyone else here too. J/k lol.

I felt the same way until recently where I've seen some clean cars pulling off CF... I think I'll just keep it as is. I get plenty of compliments already I don't want to mess up a good thing. lolz.

I do think I might get the little CBD vortex thing though... thoughts?
