Hey guys, I'm currently Driving an 04 SX2.0. Below are a few pics of it, I'm looking for suggestions on low cost/easy mods I could start working on it. The pictures aren't the best angle, currently have my car backed up my driveway as I'm replacing my tail lights currently (letting the one lens cure before I throw em in my car). Also, I have a set of 16' R/T rims with summer tires on them, but as its still the middle of the winter, i'm not running them right now. Any suggestions would be great, thanks!

Also this was just after washing my car so you can see the water marks in some of the pictures.

My Front bumper's in a little rough shape, It doesn't have the middle lower insert as you can see. And theres a few scratchs around the fog light, the guy before me rubbed a curb -.-.
What I've thought about doing with the opening is finding some kind of tight silver/black/grey? mesh that will let some light through not a ton, and just get a small red led tube and attach it in the bottom of my bumper, but not sure how that would look, or how i'd attach the mesh.

definitely fill that hole in, or get a new bumper.. if you do then fill in the spaces around the fogs with the mesh as well.

I assume you're wanting opinions on good EXTERIOR mods to start off with, based on the section you're posting in?

Yup, that's the one. At first when I hit it I was like "Oh sh!t, my engines gone, (it was LOUD!), looked at my tach to see if it was good; good to go. So I pull in a parking lot, I dragged that bich another 50ft, find it wedged under there. Reversed and got it out. FML. Someone must have been hauling some broken peices, and sure enough probably fell out, and was disguised in the snow.

Yeah I'm looking for exterior mods.
And I realize my bumpers in rough shape, I'm not in the situation to be able to buy/paintmatch a new bumper atm. But any suggestions on anything would be great, I"m just looking for Ideas

to my knowledge "he hate me" is running a turbo 2.0 engine, not the srt.

ok...

crownie: I would recommend trying to source a Mopar Lip Kit. It consists of a front lip, R/T skirts, and a rear lip. The kit is discontinued but you can find it in pieces on the used market. That is probably the best exterior setup out there in terms of looks and quality IMO. Here's a (not so great) pic of it on my car.

I have an SRT-4 rear fascia, not the Mopar lip, but you get the idea.

I'll look around and see about pricing for that.
Only question is when you're talking about front lip thats just going to be added onto my front bumper, still leaving me to deal with my nice hole i got going on.

Yeah you might want to try to find a flame red SXT bumper and start fresh and THEN pick up the lip kit. It really is a great addition

Image

Lowering springs always help, different headlights, taking the chrome grille surrounds off and painting them flame red to match the car. Dying your headliner black and matching the pillars to the dash, shorty antenna, painting your stock wheels, etc.

Yes that's true. If you can't afford to fix your current fascia, how do you expect to afford any aftermarket body parts? Even if you wanted to replace the whole front, it's not going to be cheap, especially paint-wise.
