hammerhead

so i picked up a hammerhead spoiler from the scrap yard today, mint condition.. is there anything thats sold that can allow me to raise it about an inch more or so?.. i dont like the way it sits low.. another inch would make it look better i think...
do they sell replacement parts for the "riser".. not sure whats its called.. lol

No parts are sold for it individually. Someone on here had pics of it raised. They made to spacers themselves, IIRC.
Be prepared for it to be blocking your rear vision with it higher tho. I like mine right where it is. Any higher, and it would be annoying, like the SXT spoiler.

I smell fire... since this thread sounds like it's on the way to being locked and deleted...thought I's throw some gas on the fire...
I don't have any problem with rear visibility on mine.... seems it's in exactly the right spot for my hieght..or sumthin

id say just leave it, the hammerhead is hard enough to find anyway without u tryin to fab something to make it "taller". If anything sell/trade it for an sxt spoiler

I have a hammerhead I'll sell you so you canhave a spare lol I couldnt really see a way to cleanly raise it up, anything will just look out if place.

But I have to agree with him. Leave the hammerhead where it is man, it will look like serious shit if you try to ricer it out.

Am I the only person that didn't see anything wrong with what Dank said? Don't jump so fast to conclusions, you'll live longer.
Anyways, The only way I can think of raising the hammerhead would be to fab up some kind of spacers to raise it, and then fiberglass around them to match the mounting point of the hammerhead. Make sense?
