What is a kar?

You could try to rub it out with some compound. If it's "VERY" light you can rub it out by had. If it's not deeper then the clear you or a professional should be able to buff it out with a buffer.

I guess we are letting "hatter" slide.

Depending on how deep these scratches are, you could either buff them out, or repaint the entire car. Pics of damage?

And "asswhole".

Yeah get some pictures up. Can you feel them with your fingernail? If so there's a great chance you'll need a repaint. Buffing something that you can feel will only mask it. But if you're saying it isn't that visible in the first place then there could be hope.

so many spelling errors..... :slap: but anyways if you can just live with it being keyed thats the easiest solution... if its too deep then it will need to be repainted.. and it will most likely happen again.. noting ur in cali.. i have had things keyed in my car that might have been seen as offensive.. and i just lived with it because i dont have the time or money to get it painted over and over..

An other member here had his car totaled, because the cost of fixing the damaged paint was more than the value of the car. Depending on the extent of the area affected, this would give you an idea of repair cost.
