I've searched all over the place for instructions and haven't found them. I got the S-style eyelids from Carbon by Design, but no instructions came in the box with them either. So any help would be greatly appreciated!

Carbon fiber eyelid installation instructions?
Hi guys, does anybody have any step-by-step instructions on installing carbon fiber eyelids?
I've searched all over the place for instructions and haven't found them. I got the S-style eyelids from Carbon by Design, but no instructions came in the box with them either. So any help would be greatly appreciated!

05 SXT: AEM intake + Magnaflow muffler
Pacesetter exhaust manifold + Aftermarket head&tail lights
Self-painted stock rims & other parts + Lowered on Eibach Sportlines + etc!
All I did was take 3M heavy duty double sided tape (its thick stuff) and cut it into little rectangular pieces that are the width of the tape, and about 1/4 of and inch long and places about ten of them evenly space on the back of the eyelids making sure to put a little extra in the corners. Make sure you put it close to the edge, but not so that when you put them on the lights that the tape sticks out. Make sure you clean the headlights with some sort of non abrasive cleaner and then line up the eyelid and press firmly against the light for like 30 seconds. This is exactly what I have done and I've had no problem even through the Buffalo winters

also, if u clean your headlamps, dont do it in direct sunlight, and use a cleaner that wont harm the plastics ( as stated above).
you will get some microfractures if u do it in sunlight, i got them anyways.

Thank you for the help everybody!
For those who got the Carbon by Design ones, do you think there is enough tape already on them, or should more be added? It has a thin strip (like 1/4" wide) all the way around the edges of the eyelids, and that might be enough, but it just looks like a small amount to me.
