srt4 spoiler question

so i just drilled my hole for my spoiler and i put the spoiler on and the screws arnt long enough!!!

they dont go far enough into the trunk

you sure you have it in the right spot, the bolts on a SRT spoiler are going to be long enough , thats the trunk there made for.

What year is your car? I kno on my 2000 u have to make the hole bigger on the inside of the trunk so you Can get screws onto the bolts. On the 02-05 I know that part of the trunk is less thinner for the spoiler

no all you have to do is widen the hole on the interior of the trunk so u can get the nut on the spoiler bolt I can probably take a picture when I get home

x3.. BUT, the hole on the outside of the trunk you drilled is fine... now on the inside you need to make the hole bigger so you can fit a nut in there and get it on the stud
Just go out there and take a look at it.. it's pretty simple once you step back and take a gander..

didnt someone take the bolts out of the spoiler and get longer ones and go through the trunk into the spoiler? ill have to see if i can find that post.

no need for longer screws!
