I'm fairly certain they do. IIRC, there aren't many differences between the two hoods. Worse case scenario shows you'll have at least more space from the bulge in the hood, which would give the same effect as tilting the back of the hood.

We don't... lol. But when I traded my old srt4 hood the only thing the guy was worried about, was the hood scoop saying 2.0 desgin instead of 2.4l turbo. So I'm 99% sure that it's the exact same. Why would Dodge go thru the trouble of drawing out another design for basically an identical hood to the SRT-4. If that made any sense...

The hoods do carry different part #s. I haven't seen the underside of a SRT-D hood though :-k
If I could just figure out how to meld the Outback and the Neon into one car...

if i had to guess i would have to say like fitting an srt hood to a stock 03 bumper is u will not have the gap between the hood and the bumper....

that is just a guess but it sounds right to me..... the srtd bumpers still roll like a normal 03+ bumper...

The hoods are the same. They came with different inserts (which are totally interchangeable) and the SRT-D bumper has a raised edge on it, like the SRT bumpers, to make up for the shorter hood. You're golden with either hood. (I think you got that red one anyway).

IIRC the SRT-d scoop is closed off and the SRT-4 one actually allows air in. Its been awhile since Ive had both so dont quote me on it

That's a negative, Ghostrider. I have one sitting next to me and it's definitely open

And no. No replicas of SRT or SRT-D bumpers. Companies will never produce a "niche" bumper like that. Same with R/T style.

The SRT-D hood does have the same 4 "ports" the regular SRT-4 hood has. I'll post pics if you want them but it. May be a couple of days before I can take pics of it.

I believe that's DAMN close to the underside of an SRT one. Either way, I think Colt got one already.

It's not just damn close, it's identical, sans the insert.

LSP is right the only difference is the fact that the insert on the SRT-4's says 2.4L turbo not SRT DESIGN

WTF it looks like the air duct gets shut off (goes up) . Then it opens up, to the back...wtf

I just checked my car and its no bottlenecked like the SRT-D one...

Look at the very top of the picture on picture 2. It like goes flat with the hood. Could just be my imagination.

^ That's exactly why I said it's DAMN close. The "tunnels" if you will seem to be all the way through, but on that picture it gets cut off.

look at pic #3 it doesn't get cut off that is were the scoop insert goes that you see in #1 and the bulge in #5. its all the way through it is bottle-necked though so not alot of flow and the difference in part number probably deciphers between the two different plastic scoop inserts. this is a dumb question but the air that passes through doesn't go into the engine does it.

No. I think its blocked off.
So its a fake hood scoop.

I honestly don't think the SRT-4 one does much either.

LOL, yeah, from my understanding, the hood scoop does nothing. its the nostrils that channel air to the turbo
