differences between the 2?
do both vents travel to the back of the engine?

We don't... lol. But when I traded my old srt4 hood the only thing the guy was worried about, was the hood scoop saying 2.0 desgin instead of 2.4l turbo. So I'm 99% sure that it's the exact same. Why would Dodge go thru the trouble of drawing out another design for basically an identical hood to the SRT-4. If that made any sense...

if i had to guess i would have to say like fitting an srt hood to a stock 03 bumper is u will not have the gap between the hood and the bumper....
that is just a guess but it sounds right to me..... the srtd bumpers still roll like a normal 03+ bumper...

That's a negative, Ghostrider. I have one sitting next to me and it's definitely openSlvrACR wrote:IIRC the SRT-d scoop is closed off and the SRT-4 one actually allows air in. Its been awhile since Ive had both so dont quote me on it
And no. No replicas of SRT or SRT-D bumpers. Companies will never produce a "niche" bumper like that. Same with R/T style.

The SRT-D hood does have the same 4 "ports" the regular SRT-4 hood has. I'll post pics if you want them but it. May be a couple of days before I can take pics of it.

WTF it looks like the air duct gets shut off (goes up) . Then it opens up, to the back...wtf
I just checked my car and its no bottlenecked like the SRT-D one...
Look at the very top of the picture on picture 2. It like goes flat with the hood. Could just be my imagination.

look at pic #3 it doesn't get cut off that is were the scoop insert goes that you see in #1 and the bulge in #5. its all the way through it is bottle-necked though so not alot of flow and the difference in part number probably deciphers between the two different plastic scoop inserts. this is a dumb question but the air that passes through doesn't go into the engine does it.
