This is the only srt ive seen on the srtforum that has put a civic lip on the stock bumper before. I didnt know if the bumper of the 2002 bumper had a bigger arc than the srt bumper or not.
Link for civic lip srt.

I was kind of like meh, since it wasnt color matched, but i decided to photoshop the lip colormatched to see what it looked like.
Pics:
Side Before

Side After
Front Before

Front After

-The colors are not perfect but they are close enough to get an idea.
What do you think, is it possible without majorly cutting it, like some of the 2002 owner have to do.
Thanks in advance for the feedback

eh, not my cup of tea. think its weird that teh "vents" in teh lip go over the bumper instead of below like on the 02s.

I don't think a single person on here has tried that, so I doubt anyone will know about fitment. Looks like shit if you ask me BTW.

I wish the OP on the srtforum would have had more thread on his vehicle, so could see it from different angles.
The one reason i think it looks pretty neat is from the side instead of hanging lower it kind of juts out at the bottom. Maybe its just me but who knows.
Thanks for the feedback.

I will admit to not liking cutting SRT facias due to their rarity. Just not feeling it, sorry.

But there wouldnt be any cutting of the front bumper? Only the civic lip itself would need modification? Gaah i wish someone local had a civic lip i could test and see how it sat on the bumper.

I am fully aware of other lips on the market, elw (sp), kaminari, homedepot and the one LSPs got (cant think of name

).
And asking a question makes this thread retarded how?
Anyways thanks for your .02 cents

Sorry, but to me, if there's something already on the market that looks cooler, stick with it and save the custom work for the stuff that the market doesn't have (the whole reason for the civic lip in the first place). In fact, from the side, this lip looks just like the one that already exists, so unless it's extremely cheaper, it's not worth it to me.

^ You have a point, there are a few more options, but i guess I just want to see something different i guess, and maybe see if someone had already tried it which was sort of the point of the thread. (cant get a hold of the OP on the srtforum).

That looks like ass :/
If you do a lip, you need to get one that hangs on and LOWER than the current lip. That one doesn't hang any lower.

True, maybe there is another lip on the market that might have a different fitment.
Ill google around and work some photoshop magic.

looks like total shit... The only lip that looks good with an SRT bumper is the ELW one.

Hmm, I also don't like it. I think the home depot lip is the best looking lip on SRTs. Other than that, stock srt bumpers are just fine.

ehhh looks just "alright" in my opinion.
to each is their own. so do it if you please.
i like the ELW lip best for the SRT4 but you dont have the funds for that lip (SUCH AS ME / I DON'T HAVE $300 TO SPEND ON A LIP LOL) i would go with the home depot lip (WHICH IS ALSO ME AGAIN HAHA)
plus their are plenty of "how-to's" on the home depot lip.

i would like to cut a srt front end up and see if i could make it look less retarded one of these days, even if i had a srt it would not have that friggen bumper, but still wanna cut one up, that lip could look good if it was executed in a more thought out fashion

It looks like shit. You should just give it to me and I'll do what I want with it. I think it doesn't need a lip it all.
Oh sorry, was joining the this is my car and I think it needs this bandwagon.
Idk, I like it, but it doesn't seem to flow with the back of the car.

I'm honestly not a fan of it, it just doesn't look right. Maybe because it isn't painted, the vent holes behind the black are yellow....I'm not sure it's just weird.
Oh and my splitter is a CBD Splitter

Some bumpers need lips on them to make them look good. Like the 02 or 00-01 non R/T. SRT-4 bumper looks fine as is. Anyone seen the functional ones Manny Z offers for the SRT-4?
Very tempted:

For all you open track, road race guys, this will indeed help you with more front down force. Unlike some other places that have just front lips, that are just good for cosmetics, this is 100% functional. It covers the complete bottom of the front nose.
I make them out of .063" aluminum. I have found that by using aluminum, and going with this thickness, gives me a good balance of sturdyness, and lite weight.
I have also tested this peice on my car at the track. Looking at pictures of the car going through some of the faster parts, I see that there is no flex on it.
the splitter includes all hardware, 2 left and right threaded adj support rods.
PRICE: $285
He also has one that he is building that channels air to the brake ducts.
