Do you mean turn signals? As in lighting one section at a time in the direction of the turn?

I imagine some kind of delay for each section. Not too sure how well this would work in a neon tail light housing tho. Oznuim.com might have some kind of controller you could purchase.

I have seen the Mustang blinkers, and it isn't something I would personally do. But whatever makes you happy.

The depo leds are all integrated on one board. I had the same idea a while back. IT would require reworking the boards.

Best bet is to find a set of led boards from here that are empty and solder up the leds on ur own. Wont be the same pattern as the depos but the idea will be the same.

We are talking about the same lights right. Depo leds. 3 rows. Were you trying to make each individual row go in sequencce??

Like I said thats what I was trying to do.a while back. If you made the boards work you could have some light up for parking/ brake lights then figure out how to wire up the rest to go insequence like you wanted. If you make a set Im sure you would be the first.

I can say for starters, each bulb needs it's own wiring/plug. If there's only one plug for all of the bulbs, it won't work. Also, I believe, the blinker bulb cannot be separate...I'm not sure if the Depo ones are, but it needs to have the high and low in one bulb. If I had to guess, since the Depos should be a plug and play, it will still only have one plug like the factory ones do. You'd kind of have to rewire each row of LEDs to their own plug.

If there are separate bulbs/wiring, there are universal kits: http://www.webelectricproducts.com/products.htm

yea, each row in sequense. theres 3 rows so say when i hit the brakes, it would be a pattern such as 1 then 1-2 then 1-2-3 and after that stay solid. And for the turn sigals, it would flash 1-2-3 1-2-3 etc. sorry if thats confusing, i cant think of a easier way to explain it without confusing myself.

that makes since, except. since im trying to do it by rows instead of individual bulbs, could i get away with 3 plugs? the bulbs in the depos are high/low all in one bulb. thinking about it the way you said it, it seems that maybe i could wire up each row, then get a relay out of mustang tail lights and play with that until i find a combination closest to what i am looking for. you may have solved my confusion. :D

Depos have one plug - 3 wires. Those three wires go into THREE boards, each with X amount of LEDs. The boards are wired power/ground to each other and bolted into the back of the housing. You would have to re-work your multifunction switch wiring (much the same as a BUX setup) in order to run three separate wires and make new "sockets". At most I've seen two done (i.e. BUX style install), never three. We have a dual filament bulb setup so doing this would be rather difficult, although not impossible, if you wanted it to work with factory signals/switches.

i never got to taking my depos apart. i took one look in the back and said it probably couldnt be done. but if each board is seperate then there has to be a way to do it. i would be interested if you get around to trying it out.

now you have tempted me to take apart my brand newq depo tails and start fiddling around. maybe if i find a cheap set on ebay to play with or something. keep us posted if you go any further
