I think just replace the position of the stock muffler with the Dynomax will be a good idea. It will look clean and sound beautiful.

k so for whatever reason the 17732 will not work.., well they said because of the off center inlet and outlet it would look goofy if they could mount it.. turns out they had a flowmaster they just took off someone elses car lying around, so i will have to rturn the dynomax for a refund, and they gave me the flowmaster for 40$ cash installed.. (my comp. does all their business there so i got the hookup) so i did a slight angled rear exit..

im pretty sure its this muffler
part # 842441 http://www.flowmastermufflers.com/shop/ ... rig=842441

i like it alot, when it was on the lift tacked up before the last 90 bend was added we started the car and i was afraid it was gonna be too loud..

but after the 90 was on, when im driving it is nice and mellow..not LOUD AS F*&K, quiet at idle, nice and deep mellow on regular accel, havent been able to WOT yet.. i actually wish it was a little louder..

its prob quieter since the exhaust faces out and away on passenger and on the first test i was standing behind the car not in it lol)... if i had them turn it down it would be louder, but im happy for now....."till i get bored" cant beat 40$ out the door

it would have been louder if you used a 2.5" muffler and piping after the muffler.

that's how i'm gonna do mine.

so can you get a vid of how is sounds?

looks good.. but isnt the muffler they gave you also off center inlet and outlet or is it a center outlet?

i may be buying one soon and was wondering what orientation would be best to get so i guess center/center would be the best?

I dont see where inlet location would matter any. Either way it looks pretty good

i think this is what your asking: about the inlet location on the dynomax, using the stock piping up to the muffler being attached would be so close to the tank it would rattle.. i held it up while on the lift and it would be a tight fit, if it fit at all.. so i listened to them, i trust that shop... worked out good for me... and i like the angle alot:P makes it diff..

x2... considering I have one on my car.

it's quiet now... wait til it breaks in. the flowmaster is pretty loud.
