wheels offset question?

just wanted to know if a 45mm offset will fit on my 2000..also is the offset the same on 1st gen neons? thanks

Depending on how wide the wheels are they would hit your struts and depending on the design they may not clear the calipars.
And best I know 1st gen wheels are also 40MM

what if i got 5mm spacers?..then would they fit?

If I'm thinking about it right in my head then yes that would change it to a 40MM offset.
