so not only did my Pops A Dent kit not work,
but the glue is never going to come off...
if anyone suggests that you attach something
to your car with hot glue, spit in their face...
what a waste of my time and money!
im definitely going to replace the door
now and get the rest fixed by someone
who actually knows what they're doing..
this is what my car door will look like until then :]

im probably going to end up repainting my whole car,
once i win the lotto or somethin
the more i spend time on my car, the more careless i
find out the previous owner was.. what a douche cake..

They sell that stuff to freeze it and the dent pops it's self out. Don't remember the name of it tho.
The previous owner prolly just had the perspective of it is just a car to use and abuse, then move to the next. Makes up about 75% of car owners...

Dry ice? I've heard of that being used before...

Also, get a claybar kit. It'll probably pull that glue off. If not, "goo gone" will probably help. It's what I used to get the adhesive from the letters off the car when I took the "dodge" emblem off.

That would work too, but there was a thread with an aerosol spray that basically freezes the metal, and the contraction/expansion pops it out. I believe it had mixed results.

Goo Gone, or some WD-40 will work too. Of course freezing, and popping might break the adhesive bond, and send it flying. I would stick with the GG, or penetrating oil.

thanks for the feedback
when i removed the factory emblem stickies, i just used a hair
drier and a wet cloth and it came off. i'll try some WD-40 since
i know we've got some of that laying around the house.
and the goo gone wont do anything to the finish on my paint?
even if it does, i'm replacing the door anyways. its got a huge
dent and i can't get the hinges to stop squeaking. no matter
how much WD-40 i apply! i might just replace the shell though.
id hate to have to re-tint another window..
i might try some of the freezing and dry ice methods too.
i've heard the dry ice one a few times but never really cared to try it.
i've also heard a few people say that you wont really ever be able to
get it back to its flat and smooth normal state.
i did the compressed air trick once and it didn't do anything..
im buying from a dealer from now on.. lol

And 2GN owners who
aren't members of 2GN.org. Sadly.

The squeaking may be the door check. You have to remove the two screws, and the pin to get it out to lube it.

i was thinking about doing that too.
you wouldn't know how much a new shell would cost me would ya?
if welding it on is all it takes, we can do it in the shop at my school.
just buying the shell itself and painting it will be the pricy part..

No clue. Might be cheaper finding a decent used door that is already the same color. Maybe not easier...

best thing i have found to get rid of dents in my car besides going through a collision center, would be lube (actual lube) and a plunger depending on where the dent is. there was one in my front fender and the thing came right out.

i put my car in the garage door when i had tried that before because i
felt stupid and embarrassed holding a plunger to my car
i didn't use lube though, maybe i should try some.
there's 3 smaller dents i really want gone, and my door.

the lube actually does help. it creates the seal that allows it to be plunged. i did mine in the middle of nashua NH lol

What you are talking about I think is computer duster you turn the can upside down and soak panel with the liquid that comes pit since it's upside down it comes out as liquid as the air is trapped at the other end.
