Just installed my HIDs, some Q's

Finally finished the install on my VVME HIDs and they look awesome. I was wondering how long they take to fully warm up? I had them on for like 30 seconds and I saw no blue tint at all to them. They are 8k and even the tag on the bulb confirms this. Could it be I need to warm them up more and break them in?

The older they get they go up in K's. Like the 8000 will be more think 8500 or so. Usually after a min they "warm" up.

Warm up takes less than a minute on my HIDs...but then again I got 6k which are more white..so I wasn't looking for the leet blue hue.

I just put a new Hid Kit in mine also I have 6K and its a 55 watt kit the shop who put them in says it take a minute or less to warm up, Mine are also whiter due to the fact its a 55 watt kit used to have a 35 watt 6K Kit but there was a little more blue in them even after warm up

If you're trying to look at them from in front of your car, you may not notice the 'blue hue' so much. I know when I used to run 8000k HID's, my buddies would be able to tell the blue from afar. But, just like LowNSlow said, I don't rock 8000k's anymore. I got the 'pure white' from the 6000k HID Bulbs.
As far as "warmup", it only takes a few minutes to do that... if that. I don't believe there's such thing as "breaking in" HID bulbs...

Could it be that the ground wires are not good enough? There was no blue tint when looking at it from a few feet this morning after a 30 minute ride. Could it be th stock housing?

I don't believe any of the wiring is going to affect the bulb itself. Not trying to sound like a dickhead, if I am lol, but back when I used HID's in my stock headlamps with no relay harness.. they still came out with the blue hue. Not sure what the dealio is man. Email VVME. Their customer service is pretty good. I've bought about 3 kits from them before with no negative feedback.

It looks pretty blue now. Maybe my eyes just needed adjusting. Thanks for the help guys.
