i actually plan on buying another set of stock tails and putting led's in
place of the factory bulbs for some back up lights  the depo
led set ups cost too much - epic sad face..
03SXTGUY wrote:Future plans besides debadging...? Are you talking to me? lol I don't recall ever mentioning plans to debadge the neon...I debadged my Audi A6 but I'm not putting anything into this car. It's a salvage title that I fixed myself after my sister totaled it 12/2009. I guess I have had a couple ideas run through my head but nothing big ;) I always say I'll leave a car stock and I NEVER can. But I lost about $20k on the Audi so I'm sort of learning my lesson on putting big bucks into a car. I'm starting to realize it's just a car. Most people who buy it afterwards, don't want all of that add-on sheet anyways b/c it's all your own taste...it might not be theirs. Unless of course it improves the overall function (i.e. if you spent a lot of money putting retrofit HID projectors and a good HID kit in over factory halogen).
debadging should be like a mandatory requirement to make your car legal
for public road use.. lol. of course, you might want to wait until all that
snow melts. there's plenty of cheap mods you can do that i've noticed
definitely help make a neon look cleaner, imho. but its your car, i dont
judge!

Kept it :) It really grew on me and I started to love it. I don't love how often the LEDs blow out I just had to replace a few more last month. But..I do love how they look.

Oh and for the reverse, I've never had an issue backing up and my tint is wicked dark.

Wow, they blow out that often, hmmm? I thought LEDs were supposed to last a LOT longer than your standard halogen bulb...I wonder what cheap brand of LEDs these aftermarket companies are using then...Definitely tells me not to waste $200 on junk lol I'd rather send you an extra set of OEM tails and have you rig me up something speshal & unique haha

Oh, btw I saw that kid again on campus - he definitely doesn't have the decal you guys mentioned...his are bigger blocks and do go up over the spoiler...it's pretty nice looking - I like it. Now if only I could find out where to get it

These? http://www.revolution-motorsports.com/P ... lerGraphic

I got mine used and knew they had issues when I bought them. I've opened them three times to fix the passenger side one so far. I think I've got it now

Nope, that wasn't it...it isn't swirly like that one is.
The one he has sort of looks like the cuda stripes only larger blocks and it cleanly goes up and over the spoiler. I really like it the more I see his car around campus - but I never see him to ask. I'm starting to think he did a custom job...?

See how in this graphic, http://www.revolution-motorsports.com/P ... 4111Stripe - the back 3 "blocks" are larger than the cuda stripe...well it's sort of like that only down the entire side, unlike how this one just goes solid and to a point.

Next time I see his car I'm going to walk up to it and start snapping pics lol

You could print out a couple of the 2gn.org business cards and write out a message asking about the graphics or something?

Yesterday he flew passed me while walking to my car - I was about to waive him down and yell "STOP!" lol I know Thursday I should at least be able to see the car in the parking lot around noon as it's usually there - so I'm going to take pics.
