Looking for pictures of a car bra for a 2002 sxt

I have looked everywhere for pics of a 2002 sxt (es) neon with a bra and I haven't been able to find one anywhere. I was wondering if I bought a regular Labra es version if it would work or if I would have to take my front grille off. If anyone has pics or info I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks all

why on earth would you want a bar on your car?

There are no pictures of a bra on a Neon because car bras are a bad idea.
Not even joking. Did you know that if it gets wet you have to remove the bra and turn it inside out to let it dry before reinstalling back on the car, otherwise the paint will fog over time? Every time it rains. Or that the bra will loosen up over time allowing it to slap and move against the paint causing more damage to the finish then if you did not have a bra on to begin with?

Truth.
My Mom had one on her LeBaron. Absolutely ruined the paint.
Bras are only good for preserving nice boobs, and preventing us (male and female alike) from turning into pillars of salt when sloppy overweight women are about.

Agreed, had one on an 85 Camaro and now the only rust on the car is on the hood where the bra was... don't do it!

King Crab had one for the longest time. I have one for the SRT when I go on long trips but that's the ONLY time it's on.

I had one for my blue car, when I was going on long road trips (Ie Carlisle, Mopar Nats, etc) I would slap it on for that trip there and back to prevent rock chips, other than that, it was always off.
Cool it

I didn't ask what you all thought of them, I just asked if anyone had a picture. My bumper is cracked and I really don't have the scratch to replace it so I thought why the hell not get a bra for it. So you all just need to chill a bit.

Since the damage is already done, slap one on and enjoy.

Not a very good way to start off your time on the forum.
They had no idea what your situation was and thought you were going to put one on a good bumper and eventually ruin it.
I don't think anyone needs to chill. They were providing advice.

For the price you're going to pay for a bra you can get a new bumper and probably paint

Ha, not bad sir. That did make me laugh.
Sorry, I guess I should have been more specific before I just asked for pics. I bought the car with a cracked bumper and no grille. I just spent 50 on a new grille and 20 for and emblem and to get a new bumper and have it painted just doesn't make sense to me. I was going to just return the grille and just buy a bra for 20 bucks more. Just a thought.
I apologize for me being rude. My bad yall.

You can get a new aftermarket bumper for under $50 but if you don't want to paint it, the bra may be your best bet.

I really wasn't trying to give you a hard time. I just didn't want to see you do lasting damage to your car. It's all good

"My two cents worth"
I drove one of my Neons with a unpainted bumper for six months, while I experimented with various grilles, and didn't want to chance scratching-up the paint.
If you have a CertiFit near you, they keep a lot of Neon parts in stock @ reasonable prices. You can always have it painted later, when you have more money.

what is the purpose of them?

Their intended purpose was to protect the nose of the car from getting stone chipped. The reality is they are too high maintenance to achieve that result. They must be kept clean and dry, tight to the hood/facia, on and on...
Once dust gets under it, and then it gets wet, it makes a great wet sanding compound, as the wind gets under it and it flaps away. This is what happens to 90% of them, because no one wants to remove it, and clean it every week, or more often, depending on conditions. They were mainly a fad from the late eighties to the early nineties.

Soooo gooood. I ended up ordering one today from autozone for 75 bucks. I know it's not going to look stellar but it will work until I can afford to fix the car properly. I will post some pics of when I put the bra on. Titties yall!

My vacation consists of a 4000+ mile round trip drive. I was thinking of getting a bra since I just ordered a bodykit. Now if I can find one dat would fit is something else.

Or the whole front fascia.
