recoating projector bowls/reflector housing

Got a question on outside appearance modifications. Questions about body kits, exterior lighting, just anything thats a visual mod on the "exterior" of the car. Ask those questions here.

recoating projector bowls/reflector housing

Post by Caraudioholic24 » Wed May 18, 2011 3:32 am

Ok so I was in the process of retrofitting my mpx halo projector headlamps. I got a set of acura mdx projectors. seems that the reflector/bowl part is corroded and faded. Curious if anyone knew of a company that did the "special" process (cant think of the name right now) to recoat them.. Problem Im having is that the reflector/bowl is a hard plastic so after some research it can be done but I really only found shops overseas that do it..Hoping to find someone in the us since I really wanted to get them done before Carlisle.

Or worse case if anyone sees an 05 06 07 acura mdx in a junk yard let me know if the condition of the reflector bowls are in decent shape ill snag a new set.
