srt bumper

I just got an srt exhaust from LCPLPunk (i love it, don't plan on putting a glasspack on it haha) and was thinking about an srt rear bumper for the future. Would this look funny with the stock sides, without the srt sideskirts?? This is mainly because the exhaust sticks out a little bit and looks weird from the side, its not horrible but I was just wondering anyways.

IMO, yes. It would look funny. I'm still planning a SRT-4 front end, but it probably won't touch the car until I get side skirts and some form of rear bumper cover. I have the SRT exhaust on my SXT and I think it looks good. You can see the exhaust from the side, but it doesn't look as silly as the Vibrant.

I would recommend some sort of side skirts to help tie in the rear bumper. R/T sides look REALLY good with the SRT rear as well....

Search for Crucialneon's car on here....that's the setup he's running now if I'm not mistaken...and it looks amazing on his car....

I looked on crucialneon's site and on the pics he doesn't have the srt-4 bumper, did he just add it or something? At least it doesnt look like it, doesn't have the cutouts.

i found my R/T side from a forum member on the neons.org boards. I'm also running the R/T exhaust & just had the tips relocated to fit the bumper

wow I really like that, wouldn't I have to get the front bumper then too? I didnt really wanna do that until I went turbo and other stuff. I might as well leave the rear bumper as it is now until im ready to get the package kit I guess haha.

you don't have to get the front if you don't want to. but you will need some kinda lip to match the flow of the sides & rear

Ya true, if I did get a front it would be the srt-4 because I love the look. I just didn't want to get it before I actually modded my car because that would be so stupid.

well you can always get it & hold off on installing it till you get the rest. kinda like what i did when i bagged my car. bought pieces here & there till i got everything i needed. took a lil over 3 months or so
