final decision

Post by Paralyzer » Thu Jan 12, 2006 9:36 pm

after all the talk of body kits and lip kits...i have just plan out decided that I am getting the 5 peice AVS lip kit. lowering it and putting 17's on it and leave it at that. I will add extras but that will be my kit and stance. What do you guys think of that kit. I wish I could find more people with it but I have only found 1 person on cardomain.com

not to sure why I said that...I thought about that after I said it....white with broze alone would be nice but not to sure what it would look like on a neon. You have a picture of one anywhere. or close...I am nit to sure about the shape of our car if it would look right or not

Hey, I was gonna get that kit also....still up in the air if I want that one or the Mopar one....I love the Mopar, but no one has the AVS. I dunno, I found them both at around the same price....actually, the Mopar, believe it or not, is cheaper. LoL! But yeah, I am going to get one of them for my car this Spring. If you get the kit, post pics so I can see how it looks!

I have made my decision up today for one simple reason. A customer that came into the store I work at, is a sales and proprietor of Lund Internationsal and Auto Ventshade companies, and is also a sales rep for Eibach springs. He told me that if I hooked him up wiht what he needed(which was to recover lost data from his blackberry to his laptop for work), he would hook me up. I can get a free wings and eibach springs from him for free. And I know he told me I can get the kit for dirt cheap through him. The computer business is the place to be that is for sure. You meet all types of people and get all types of help. I found a picture of the kit on a car in the link below:

I thought I liked that lip kit, but this person's car just doesn't look right... I'm not sure I like the front lip. Something about it, I dunno...

Well for one, it's not made to fit that car (his is 2000, made for 2003-2005). LoL....I don't know what he was thinking.

That's not the one I was talking about though. I was talking about the one with correct fitment on a 2003 Blaze Red Neon. Still looks a little strange.

I dunno. Something about it... Just looks bad. I don't think I like the front lip. Maybe if the kit was molded and there weren't seams all over the place... But I dunno.

from that shot it doesn't look bad at all, but from a direct side shot, it looks wierd to me anyways. I still like the kit though, including the front lip. And that photochop you did of the white....hell yeah, it would look GREAT on a white car! Although you know that those sideskirts are R/T's and not AVS, right?

yeah, it looks from the side that the front of the lip is lower than the end by the wheelwell....it just doesn't look right when it slopes down from the wheelwell. if anything, it should slope slightly up.
