How to install RallyArmor universal mudflaps?

Post by JacobHolmes » Wed Aug 14, 2013 11:56 am

Disclaimer: Sorry if this has already been discussed I did a search and nothing useful came up.

So I got some RallyArmor universal mudflaps, I'm going to install them on my '05 SX. There are no instructions in the box I did find an instrucable online where the guy used expansion anchors which seems like a good idea.

The problem is I'm not sure how low and how far out they should stick? I'm stock ride height. :?

It's mostly up to your discretion. Some like them more noticeable, others have them for functional reasons and trim them down much more. Google some pictures and choose what you like best.

I ended up doing just that, I looked at some pictures and made a mock up out of cardboard of the flap and then put it where I thought would be a good height and stood back and looked at the car from a distance. I have some pictures, I think it looks good but I'd like to hear others opinions. :)

How exactly did you mount them? I got some last week and plan on mounting them on Friday.
