Clear Corners Installed

Post by J8t4m » Mon Feb 06, 2006 3:46 pm

This is more of a informative post . . . .

I got my clear side bumper housing installed

I ended up having a fitment problem

the notches in the housing werent quit big enough to let the Rubber light socket fit and twist in

Heres what I had to do: I ended up have to take a pocket knife and shave alittle plastic out of the inside of the clear housing to allow the notches on the rubber socket to slide down - Im sure a small file would work out better than a knife . . . but thats all I had . . .

Just wanted to post this for anyone else that might have a slight fitment problem (*thats what i get for shopping ebay*)

Ebay or not, the lights are all the same no matter where you get them from. I got another set from Modern and had the same exact problem. I used a small file to trim the little tabs down though.

I had some like 3 years ago, they were APC  but thats all I could find at the time, and they worked just fine, no trimming needed
