Projecter headlights

I installed some projecters with some HIDs but it NO where near as bright as its supposed to be. The headlights are plug and play and supposed to be pretty straightforward but, the lights aren't bright. Any ideas about why this would be? Also I kept my regular high beams and when i turn them on the left side is the only one coming on. Any ideas??

They aren't just plug and play. You need to hook up the ballasts to the HID bulbs. If you just plugged in the headlights without swapping from the halogen bulbs they're usually shipped with, you just have halogen lights, not HID's.

Which headlights/HID kit did you purchase? and how did you wire them. We need to know this if you're going to get any help.
