body input wanted

Post by optlo » Fri Mar 10, 2006 11:33 pm

alright - within the next few weeks I'm buying my kit... but I'd like some fellow 2gn input.

I was set on getting the R34 kit... but I've been looking at the blitz kit

It seems to have a nice front for an intercooler... but does it look to ricey?

Lemme know guys... thanks

I dont like those skirts...they are too swirly lol.

I like the front, I have the r34...but...urs is steel blue and then there would be 2 of us w/ similar colors (mines not really SB anymore :D ) so....Im picking BLITZ hehehe, but serioulsy...I do like the blitz kit. you should get an rt bumper, that would look nice on steel blue. then get some nice srt skirts or rt skirts and srt rear bumper. that would be a nice combo.

heh - I'm not sure if i'm going to stick with the Steel blue color when it gets painted... but I may... cause blue is my fav color... but i think its a sleek front bumper... I think i'll prolly go with it.

stock tails or aftermarket???

Personal opinion here.... I would say no on the kit pictured. Looks too cheap and ricey for my taste. R34 is the much better option. Hope everything works out and you love what you get.

If you have an inter cooler to put in the hole of the Blitz then I think it will look great. Otherwise way to open for me. The sides would have to go as I like something more smooth. If you go aftermakert spend a lil I got black chrome 3 meatball tails for 100.00 off ebay like 2 years ago and they are great never had a leak or anything.

bltiz kit in my opinion got played out from eclipses and a no no on neons. i swear mitsu should just make that kit stock on eclipses right out of the factory. r34 ftw :D

Negative on the blitz. A friend of mine that I used to work with had it on his. I disliked it then and still dislike it now. But whatever floats your boat ;)

However, it seems the general consensus here is the R34--which I totally agree with :D

that doesnt surprise me with the amount of people that told him to get it. I would probably get one for my neon if I was to throw a different bumper on it.

That's the one pictured in the original post, right? Too many holes. Too much black nothingness... Now, if you were to put a big fat shiny intercooler in there, that'd be a different story. :D
