So you people would never believe my Monday!

Farmers called, the insurance carrier for the woman that hit me head on....and told me that they found me at more than 50% fault for the accident!!! So they are not paying for my car to be fixed.....yet.haha Crazy how apparently her being in MY lane comming h ead on is acceptable?!?

So anyhow I called my insurance company and filed a complaint with them about the situation, and they have an investigator on the case, and said they will take farmers all the way to arbitration to get this turned back in my favor. The bad news is for me to get the neon fixed I have to pay my $500 deductible...ugh. But hopefully I will get it back. So anyhow, it's been a horrible day in that regard.

Funny how crappy insurance companies are, cops say it's her fault, she says it's her fault, and then this? Anyhow, Just wanted to vent out to you all....and keep you updated. Thanks everyone.

If she was cited in the accident for being at fault then the insurance company doesn't have a leg to stand on. You may need to hire a lawyer for this one young chap. Good luck.

That sucks :( they found me at fault for my wreck, but I still had my car replaced and totaled out. and I guess theirs got totaled out too. I dont know who the insurance company found at fault though, they never told me.

I hope it all turns out good for you, but if the reports say her fault, she says it, and you say its hers....Im sure it will turn out in your favor.

YOu had full coverage insurance. So no matter the fault, you just had to pay your deductible and you'd get the car replaced.... thus the benefit of full coverage ;)
